Good afternoon. What is the best way to mend this product to itself to create a dust tight seal? It will be formed into a cylindrical shape and overlapped, but will need to form together to keep dust in.
Answer:
This is per the Manufacturer: In most cases adhesive is not necessary. Overlapping the cloth is the first remedy for any leaking. The Lining Brochure does use an adhesive for attaching rubber to steel and rubber to rubber. If you require an adhesive, 2322042 would be for the Greenbond, and 2322041 would be for the Hardener. Primer is currently out of stock. We don't have these products online yet, but email me at info@mpparts.com if you would like to order.
