Terex 23992 Water Coolant Temp Alarm Sender - C13 Sensor
- 250F - 1/2 SPST - Self-grounding - normally Off - Heavy duty - corrosion-resistant - Some competitors shorten the probe length to save money on brass but the length is critical to proper sensor operation in most applications. - Switches utilize PTF or NPTF dryseal thread which requires no sealant. - Switches close a ground circuit to indicator lights or other warning devices that warn of a hot or cold condition. - Cannot be used with gauges. - 0.250in blade (6.4mm) terminal. - For use with indicator light or warning buzzer. - 1/2in -14 dryseal thread mounting stem (PTF-SAE short) - Mounting hex flat 15/16in (111.1 ? 128.9 degrees C)
There are two coolant sensors on the side of the intake on a C13. One has a stud/nut (11478 Sender to Gauge) for the electrical and the other (23992 Sender to Temp Alarm) has a flat spade electrical connection.
C10 and C12 Cat Engines will use 11478 sender to the gauge and 18756 Alarm Sender for the Temperature
