Infern-O-Therm Model HWT-10-400-GO Hot Water Storage System
10,000 Gallon Storage Tank:
Tank is mounted on full-length skid of 15" x 33.9# channel, with 30 inch manhole and 3" vent. The tank shell is constructed of 1/4" A-36 carbon steel and 1/4 in channel reinforced heads welded inside and out. All ports located as required. Four (4) heavy-duty lifting lugs are top mounted (for use when tank is empty). Unit will include chiller supply port and 3in chiller return port.
Tank Insulation:
The tank is insulated with three inch, 4 pound density mineral wool (R Value of 12.75) with poly-vapor barrier for cold water storage and covered with .032 stucco embossed aluminum jacket. All exposed steel surfaces are painted with two coats black enamel @ 5-6 mils DFT.
Main Combustion Tube w/ Twin Stacks:
20" primary tubes with twin 10" secondary heat transfer tubes, and two 10in stacks. All material will be A-53 B, standard wall. Dual Stacks are equipped with stack mufflers to create additional back pressure when operating on natural gas.
Infern-O-Therm Burner Model 400:
This is a heavy duty, industrial quality burner, designed and
manufactured by I-O-T for the process industry. Burner is fired on #2 fuel oil or natural gas with 2,760,000 BTU per hour input. The burner is equipped with aquastat temperature controller, Fireye flame control with U.V. Flame scanner, alarm circuit with horn, and weatherproof cover with hinged door. The control box is NEMA 12 and the fan motor is TEFC with 1.15 S.F. All burners use UL approved controls.

Infern-O-Therm Burner Model 400 required Combustion Chamber:
High temperature refractory with patented CLOVERLEAF super charger, which maintains the back pressure at approximately six inches water column and creates an actual forward combustion chamber. This causes a high efficiency burning process by properly atomizing the fuel vapor with super heated air in the red hot chamber for complete combustion, lower fuel consumption and greater heat transfer. This is exclusive to Infern-O-Therm.
Water Inlet Control System:
Consists of a "make up" spray bar located in the top side of the tank, high level switch to maintain water level and brass "Y" strainer are included. (Water inlet system is shipped loose for field installation)
