I have a model PFT4E Badger Meter serial number 652607. Can you tell me if this part will fit my meter. Thank you!
Answer:
The model PFT4E is for the transmitter, which can go on several different sizes. What size meter do you have? 2", 3", or 4" ? After you determine that, the only thing left is to find out if you need a 2-pole or a 4-pole rotor & spindle. On the back of the rotor there is a stainless steel plate. If the rotor is a 2 pole rotor it will have a 2 stamped in it a 4 pole rotor will have a 4 stamped in it. Please feel free to call in if you need further assistance!

Sir can you please tell me how you can tell the difference between a 2 pole rotor and a 4pole.I need a rotor for a water meter but I want to be sure I get the right one.
Answer:
Pole is the number of magnets on rotor. 2 pole = 2 magnets & 4 pole =4 magnets
