Williams Controls 340000 Throttle Position Sensor With Wiring Harness

Hi there. I wanna make sure before I buy this that I understand which wire in the output wire. I was told I need to attach a 94kohm resistor on the outgoing signal wire in order to assure no more then 5 volts is going through my ecm. My client melted there previous switch due to it being to close to there poorly insulated firewall. But I wanna make sure I understand this first. Thank you so much
